Reminder

Daffodil Morning

Acrylic on canvas | 10" x 8"This is the result of dropping globs of paint on one canvas and pressing it again another canvas. I had pre-painted the backgrounds using extra paint from another piece I was working on because I hate to waste anything. Someday its partner will be released as well.

A Sunset

Creep

Acrylic on canvas | 14" x 11" A variation of paint by numbers I randomly assign a number to a color and the randomly assign a number to a position on a canvas and then match them up and manipulate the paint until something inside me tells me to stop.

Acrylic on canvas | 8" x 10" I bought some new tools to play around with recently which always spurs new ideas. This didn't come out anything like what I envisioned in my head but I really like the result. I enjoy when art is experimental regardless of the outcome.

Acrylic on canvas | 14" x 11"When I finished I felt like I had seen this before. I realized it was reminding me of the album cover for "Segundo" by Juana Molina. Whoever finds this should listen to that album while looking at the painting to complete my symbiotic circle of art.

The Way Home

Acrylic on canvas | 16" x 20" I saw these colors in the art store and decided I wanted to try something geometric with them. Then I remembered I hate geometric art and added more organic curves. It reminds me of highway on / off ramps.

Plumes: Volcano
